This machine continuously moves the components through a tumbling action of the belt conveyor ensuring that components are continually exposed to the blast stream and completely cleaned. For easy unloading, the belt conveyor is reversed, delivering the components into the loading skip. For small to medium sized and irregular shaped components this results in efficient and consistent treatment of the components surface.
Fully automated loading, unloading and a driven door can be added to further simplify the process.
Bulk blasting for castings, forgings and small parts
Tumble blasting machines suit robust parts that can tumble against each other without damage, such as castings, forgings, fasteners and small fabrications. Typical uses include de-sanding, descaling, rust removal and preparing parts for coating.
Parts are loaded as a batch, blasted for a set cycle time and unloaded by reversing the belt. Batch size, belt type and the number of wheels are matched to your parts and throughput.
